About the client

Claromentis: intranet software for organizations around the world.

Claromentis is a leading provider of corporate intranet software. Its own website says the company is headquartered in Brighton, UK, with regional presence in the United States, Canada and Australia, and that it is ISO 27001:2022 certified. An intranet is the internal home of an organization, where staff find news, documents, policies and tools, so the people who choose one are usually specialists, such as internal communications, HR and IT teams, rather than the general public.

Selling software to organizations is a slow, considered process. Several people are often involved in the decision, they compare products over weeks or months, and they tend to research a supplier thoroughly before they speak to anyone. Search is part of that research, and so are reviews, comparison pages and social media. A software provider has to be visible at each of those points, and to be taken seriously when it is found.

Today the Claromentis website describes its products as AI-powered software suites for businesses, franchises and non-profits, with a Franchise Hub, an Enablement Hub and a Charity Hub. A company that sells to organizations in several countries needs to be found in each of them, which is why this project was international from the start.

That brings its own difficulty. The words buyers use, the competitors they compare and the channels they trust can differ from one country to the next, so one campaign pointed at everyone rarely fits any of them. Working with people who know each region, and keeping the message consistent across paid, organic and social, is what lets a single brand be recognized everywhere.

Our records show social media work for Claromentis agreed in February 2017, and this case study covers the wider multi-channel campaign: international SEO, paid search, display, social media and strategy.

The challenge

Build brand awareness and sales-qualified leads in every region.

The task was to increase brand awareness and sales-qualified leads across all digital channels, with a worldwide campaign. A sales-qualified lead is an inquiry that is a genuine fit for the sales team to follow up, so the aim was leads worth speaking to, not just more visits.

The project involved working with Claromentis regional representatives to maximize visibility at both national and local levels, and it included organic, paid and social media channels.

  • Sales-qualified leadsIncrease leads from the regions being targeted.
